FBI protects terrorist Luis Posada Carriles

The FBI is guilty of destroying evidence against former CIA asset and suspected terrorist Luis Posada Carriles.

Posada is accused of masterminding the 1976 bombing attack that brought down a Cuban airliner, killing 73 people, as well as being responsible for a string of bomb attacks targetted to cripple Cuba‘s tourism industry.

Ann Louise Bardach, author of "Twilight of the Assasins"published in this month’s edition of The Atlantic Monthly, suggests that the FBI destroyed the evidence to placate Miami‘s extremist Cuban exile community.

An FBI spokersperson said the shredding of the evidence was routine.
