Colombia: Anti-Coca Spraying Damages

A U.S. based environmental research group, the Inter-Amerian Association for Environmental Defense, has published a study of U.S. funded aerial spraying of coca crops in Colombia is damaging health, water, food crops and the natural environment. The report shows that spraying has not significantly reduced coca growth, and is mostly damaging to legal farmers. The spraying is part of Washington D.C.´s Plan Colombia.
